Project: Inventory system in C# with source code
Inventory system is a simple desktop application developed using C# language. The project is based on the concept of records management. Talking about the system, a user has to go through a login system to use its features. Admin can store stock, out of stock, returns etc.
User can manage main stock; for this, the user must enter the item name, description, category, price and quantity. Naturally, the user can use CRUD functions. After that user can manage out of stock, returns by entering customer id, transaction id, name, address and adding items. From the settings, it can add categories and item units. The last feature of this system is the user management system, where the administrator can add and organize the roles of different users.
The design of it is so simple that the user will not face any difficulty while working on it. The Inventory System project helps the user to manage the recording of inventory items. For data processing, MySQL is used as a database. This project is easy to use and understood by users. To run this project you must have installed Visual Studio IDE and XAMPP on your PC. How to run??
Start Apache and MySQL in XAMPPand follow the steps indicated
Database connection (MySQL)
1st step: Open a browser and navigate to the URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
2nd step: Next, click on the Databases tab
3rd step: Create a database named “db_inventory”, then click the Import tab.
4th step: Click Browse File and select the “db_inventory.sql” file located in the “Database (MySQL)” folder
5th step: Click Go.
After creating the database,
Last step: Open the “InventorySystem1.0.sln” file.
Insert the username and password provided in the “Readme.txt” file.
